Depor give Barça cause for concern

FC Barcelona's dire run in the Primera División continued on Saturday as they fell to a 2-0 defeat away to RC Deportivo La Coruña.
Poor runSecond-half goals from Juan Rodriguez, on 54 minutes, and Pablo Amo 14 minutes from time consigned the Catalan side to their seventh league defeat of the season. Barcelona have not won in the league in six matches and have picked up just three points from a possible 15 to allow Real Madrid CF to pull clear at the top.
Eight changesVillarreal CF now have the chance to tighten their grip on second place when they travel to Real Betis Balompié on Sunday when Madrid host Athletic Club Bilbao. Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard made eight changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Manchester United FC in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, and Deportivo made them pay with a victory that lifts them to seventh in the table. If Villarreal fail to beat Betis and Real win at home to Athletic in Sunday's late game, Bernd Schuster's side will reclaim the title with four matches left. In Saturday's late game, Real Murcia CF held Sevilla FC to a goalless draw.
