After a day’s holiday, and on the back of a big win at Mestalla, Barça returned to work with a training session on Tuesday at La Masía. All the players currently at Frank Rijkaard’s disposition were present, with the injured Messi and Oleguer working out in the gym and Edmílson also absent with gastroenteritis.
Henry, like on Sunday, worked in isolation with his fitness coach, but Ezquerro trained as normal with the rest of the group. Despite the intense cold in Barcelona at the moment, a sizeable crowd of fans turned up to watch the first team train.
