Simão Sabrosa admitiu, em entrevista ao site da FIFA, que, neste momento, Leo Messi é melhor do que Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Actualmente, os dois estão muito bem, mas o Messi está em melhor forma", disse o extremo do Atlético Madrid.
Na mesma entrevista, Simão reservou rasgados elogios para o seu ídolo, o também extremo que já foi melhor do mundo, Luís Figo. "Desde os 13 anos, quando cheguei à Academia do Sporting, que o via treinar. O meu sonho sempre foi ser como ele. Depois tive a sorte de jogar com ele, no Sporting, no Barcelona e na Seleção, e ele sempre teve conselhos prontos para me dar. É um exemplo para todos, desde os profissionais até ao miúdos que sonham ser jogadores de futebol", afirmou o antigo capitão do Benfica.
O craque "colchonero" ainda falou sobre o atual momento do Atlético Madrid: "Temos estado muito irregulares, principalmente na Liga. Ganhamos um jogo, vivemos três dias de festa, depois perdemos e é um drama". Quanto a objetivos, Simão admite que "a Taça do Rei é a prioridade". Queremos chegar à final e vencê-la", acrescenta.
